The Sewerin LaserGasPatroller LGP 800 is the next generation of vehicle-mounted gas leak survey equipment designed for the inspection of underground natural gas distribution systems. This system uses advanced laser-based technology to detect methane gas migrating through the soil to street level, allowing operators to survey extensive pipeline networks quickly and accurately.
The complete system pairs the compact LGP 800 measuring unit with the powerful SeCuRi® SAT documentation software, creating a comprehensive solution for gas utilities and service providers. As the vehicle drives over underground gas lines, eight specialized bell probes collect air samples and analyze them in real-time using selective Tunable Diode Laser Spectroscopy (TDLS) technology. The technology specifically targets methane without interference from other gases.
