Brando Bustos | Linc Energy Systems’ Technician

I am pleased to introduce you to Brando Bustos, a technician for Linc Energy Systems who just celebrated his first year with the company. Brando works in our Service Department which provides contract services for pipeline maintenance and operation, cathodic protection, natural gas electronic metering, operator qualification training, electronic corrector calibration, and repair. Additionally, Brando specializes in the natural gas odorization line of GPL Odorizers.

Before joining Linc Energy Systems, Brando worked for Interwest Safety Supply as a warehouse helper and forklift driver. He has received his gas pipeline Operator Qualification Training (OQ) and Swagelok tube fitting installation training. Brando attended Red Rocks Community College and Cuauhtémoc Campus High School.

When I asked Brando what his favorite quote was, he recited Aristotle’s great excerpt, “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” Then he further explained that the day we stop educating ourselves is the day we begin our descent. Perhaps this is why Brando is filled with an interest to learn. He challenges himself every day to “make Linc Energy Systems more successful,” and appreciates the diversity of the business which gives him a broad array of things to learn. Aside from being a philosopher, Brando is an athlete and played semi-pro soccer and still participates in a competitive soccer league.
