ROOTS B34S Series Regulator (Former Itron B34S)

The ROOTS B34S Series regulator represents the next evolution of Itron’s respected gas regulator technology. Following Dresser Utility Solutions’ acquisition of Itron’s global gas regulator business, these proven products continue their legacy of innovation under the ROOTS brand name in North America.

This medium-duty commercial and industrial regulator is spring-loaded and self-operated, available with or without internal relief. The B34S combines the B31 8″ diaphragm case with the B34 valve assembly, creating an economical solution for mid-range commercial and industrial applications where consistent gas pressure is crucial.

The rapid response of the B34S makes it particularly well-suited for mid-range applications where quick on/off loads can cause shock problems. Its design incorporates an adjustable loading ring for controlled boost at high flows and a precision breather opening that ensures proper stability under all conditions.
